GRI Export Announcements

Due to carriers adopting regulations related to IMO 2020 Sulphur Cap and increasing oil prices we expect to have increasing Bunker rates this whole 2019 which will be announced below.

Bellow the following GRI (General rate increase) export announcements:

SEPTEMBER 2019

• MSC has announced a GRI from USA to Asia. The expected increase is 120 USD for 20´, 150 USD for 40´ and 150 USD for 40 HC. This GRI is going to be effective from 09-15-2019.

• Hamburg Sud has announced a GRI from West Coast USA to Australia and New Zealand. The expected increase is 100 USD for 20´, 175 USD for 40´ and 175 USD for 40 HC. This GRI is going to be effective from 09-15-2019.

• US line has announced a GRI from West Coast USA to Australia and New Zealand. The expected increase is 200 USD for 20´, 400 USD for 40´ and 400 USD for 40 HC. This GRI is going to be effective from 09-15-2019.

• CMA has announced a GRI from East Coast and Gulf USA to Australia and New Zealand. The expected increase is 200 USD for 20´, 400 USD for 40´ and 400 USD for 40 HC. This GRI is going to be effective from 09-15-2019.

• PIL has announced a GRI from West Coast USA to Australia and New Zealand. The expected increase is 100 USD for 20´, 200 USD for 40´ and 200 USD for 40 HC. This GRI is going to be effective from 09-15-2019.

OCTOBER 2019

• Hapag Lloyd has announced a CAF from USA to North Europe. The expected increase is 17 USD for 20´, 26 USD for 40´ and 26 USD for 40 HC. This CAF is going to be effective from 10-01-2019.

• Hapag Lloyd has announced a GRI from USA to North Europe, Mediterranean. The expected increase is 50 USD for 20´, 100 USD for 40´ and 100 USD for 40 HC. This GRI is going to be effective from 10-01-2019.

• ONE has announced a GRI from USA to ASIA, INDIA SUB-CONTINENT, MIDDLE- EAST, OCEANIA, AFRICA. The expected increase is 40 USD for 20´, 50 USD for 40´ and 50 USD for 40 HC. This GRI is going to be effective from 10-01-2019.

• CMA has announced a PSS from USA to Apapa and Tin Can, Nigeria. The expected increase is 750 USD for 20´, 750 USD for 40´ and 750 USD for 40 HC. This PSS is going to be effective from 10-01-2019.

• CMA has announced a GRI from USA to West Africa (Excluiding Nigeria). The expected increase is 75 USD for 20´, 150 USD for 40´ and 150 USD for 40 HC. This GRI is going to be effective from 10-01-2019.

• Hamburg Sud has announced a GRI from West Coast USA to North Europe. The expected increase is 50 USD for 20´, 100 USD for 40´ and 100 USD for 40 HC. This GRI is going to be effective from 10-06-2019.

• Hamburg Sud has announced a GRI from West Coast USA to West Mediterranean. The expected increase is 50 USD for 20´, 100 USD for 40´ and 100 USD for 40 HC. This GRI is going to be effective from 10-06-2019.

• Hamburg Sud has announced a GRI from East Coast and Gulf USA to Australia and New Zealand. The expected increase is 200 USD for 20´, 400 USD for 40´ and 400 USD for 40 HC. This GRI is going to be effective from 10-15-2019.

• ZIM has announced a NBF from East Coast, West Coast, Gulf Ports USA to East Mediterranean, West Mediterranean, and Middle East. The expected increase is 215 USD for 20´, 430 USD for 40´ and 430 USD for 40 HC. This NBF is going to be effective from 10-01-2019.

• MSC has announced a GRI from USA to Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia. The expected increase is 100 USD for 20´, 200 USD for 40´ and 200 USD for 40 HC. This GRI is going to be effective from 10-01-2019.

• Hapag Lloyd has announced a IFS from USA to All destinations. The expected increase is 32 USD for 20´, 32 USD for 40´ and 32 USD for 40 HC. This IFS is going to be effective from 10-01-2019.

NOTES:

All rates on Transnow to Puerto Rico are subject to change without 30 days’ notice. A potential booking cancellation fee of $500 per shipment will apply on bookings rolled consecutively.

Brazil Export Shipments are subject to a Carrier B/L (hardcopy) printing fee, the amount varies from $45 to $120 per shipment.

In response to the rapid expansion of the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) , the Australian and New Zealand Government’s Department of Agriculture has strengthened the seasonal measures to manage risk of BMSB from arriving in Australia and New Zealand for the 2019–20 BMSB risk season. Therefore, a fumigation fee may aply to cargo destinated to the countries mentioned.

A General Rate increase for all cargo From Asia to the US has been announced and the amount may vary depending on the Carrier

Any cargo bound for the West Coast of South America that passes through Panama Canal will have a surcharge of USD 337 per container.

This message is to kindly inform you that carriers have announced a blank sailings period ( cancelled departures and services) during the next few months and, especially, after the Golden Week in China (1 st - 7 th October 2019). During this Chinese national holiday period, most factories in the country will be closed and all main ports will operate on minimum services.

Please, also consider that, during the previous weeks to the Golden Week (Peak Season), we are expecting a general lack of space and, therefore, your cargo might be subject to delays or roll-overs (when shipped on the next ship).
